This series of on-location sketches chronicles the diverse architecture and natural environments I experienced while cycling 300 miles across Washington state. Through expressive line work and a muted color palette, I aimed to capture the weathered textures and untamed beauty of abandoned structures becoming reclaimed by their surroundings. Each sketch represents a moment of observation and response to the rustic charm and fading histories preserved in these rural landscapes.
